Matt Ingalls has more than 25 years of professional planning and design experience in both the private and public sectors. 

Trained in planning, urban design, and landscape architecture, Matt brings a unique set of skills to projects he is involved with. He has a detailed understanding of interdisciplinary collaboration and how planning and design work together to shape communities. With a commitment to a collaborative process, Matt looks to understand stakeholders’ aspirations and find common ground. The result is a plan with broad-based support that provides the foundation for implementation. Matt is an instructor for the Monroe County, NY Annual Professional Development Workshops, including Introduction to Comprehensive Planning & Zoning, Negotiating Better Design, and Community Planning and Health.

Matt earned his undergraduate degree in urban economics from the University at Buffalo and master's degrees in planning and landscape architecture from The Ohio State University.
