Amber has nearly 20 years of planning experience, specializing in neighborhood revitalization, project management, and plan implementation. Before joining czb, she was a senior planner with the City of Des Moines and later the founding Executive Director of Invest DSM, a non-profit organization created to implement middlemarket revitalization strategies. During her tenure, Invest DSM grew to a staff of eight and prompted the investment of over $100 million in four neighborhoods through its grant programs and redevelopment activities.

Amber holds degrees from Luther College and Iowa State University.
